February 28, 2004
On Saturday February 28, 2004 in West Springfield, MA the Connecticut, Berkshire, and Boston Chapters of the NGPP held their first ever New England Chapters joint
meeting. Thirty nine members from six Northeastern Chapters attended.
The events of the day included:
A talk about sales and time efficiency of the sales process by Berkshires Bob Kelly.
A demonstration on inlayed borders by Connecticut's Rich Mead.
A demonstration on the process of fabric installations by Boston's Sarah Symth and Barry Blanchard.
A demonstration on a new method of hanging ceilings originated by the Coachella Valley, CA Chapter by Boston's Gerard Poirier.
A demonstration on Appliqués by Boston's Bill Archibald.
All of the presentations were well executed and included added insight by all who attended. As usual with Guild events what made the day so special was the camaraderie shared by all!
