October 16th, 2002
On October 16th, 2002 members of the Western Lake Erie Chapter
(pictured below) took on a mission! Larry Pollock, acting president, Larry
Hall, Gregg Sattler, Joe Laurel, Pete Banchoff, John Arquette and Mark
Dusa came together to transform the multi-purpose room of the Cherry
Street Mission, located at 105 17th Street in Toledo into a warm, inviting
home like atmosphere.

Dan Rogers of the Cherry Street Mission was the contact person. Pollock
and Sattler prepped the walls several days before the hang with products
donated by The Zinsser Company’s, Rusty Funhauser. Thanks also to LeRue
Brown and York Wallcoverings, for 70 yards of commercial vinyl and Roman
Decorating Products, Merle Houck who donated the adhesive to make this a
successful charity hang project. Roman Decorating Products, York
Wallcoverings, and The Zinsser Company are all National Associate members
of NGPP.
